Peek a BOO!Had fun with the nephews today. We went to a little corn maze, them a pumpkin patch. Then we went back to the house for pumpkin carving and trick our treats. Followed by scary movie night...

All "Fall" down.
Fall is finally here. This is usually NOT something I look forward to. I love the warmth and wonderfulness of summer.. on the other hand I detest the bitter icky coldness of winter. However this year summer was not such a good time for me. I had surgery, lost my job, my place to live.. it was just not good. Ya know? So I am done with summer this year and anxious to get on with fall/winter and all the fun things I can find to be happy about.
My plans for this winter, for one, I want to enjoy the snow. This means getting some decent winter shoes/boots. I think I have found some that I really want. They are about 100 bucks at Sportsman's Warehouse, which is a lot for me to spend. But they are super nice and the inside has this insulate stuff that is similar to the stuff in my Snowboarding boots. These are Columbia's and besides being warm and sturdy, they are also kinda cute. Well, ok.. they are not ugly anyways, which most warm boots are.
I also want to get some strength built up in my legs over the next few months so I can maybe USE my too expensive snowboard boots and try boarding in the early spring.
Greg thinks we should go winter camping... ya still not really sold on that. lol who knows, maybe I will get brave (or stupid) and give in. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
